The rooms were super clean and comfy with four pillows per bed, so no more fighting over pillows with your travel buddies! The staff at the front desk were super chill and made you feel at home. Plus, the pool was just the right temperature for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring LEGOLAND and the Flower Fields. 🌴

Everything was nice and within 10 minutes' drive of McClellan-Palomar airport. The rooms were tastefully decorated and well-appointed, especially those with microwave, a balcony.

The rooms were air conditioned and brand-new with a bathtub, TV.

We hit up the SEA LIFE Aquarium and got up close with zebra sharks and Pacific seahorses. Then, we checked out the LEGO Legends of CHIMA™ Water Park and made some epic waves at the Lion Temple Wave Pool. The free shuttle to Legoland was clutch too!

It would've been sick to have more options for nighttime entertainment for us party-loving teens.

Stunning location very close to very close to the brand new Green Dragon Inn, legoland and shopping center and ocean and Legoland and absolutely courteous and respectful staff. Coffee, a patio and air conditioner in the room and the large bed. Helpfulness from the whole staff.

Not so friendly staff!

Fairly clean place with pool views and very courteous and amazingly nice stuff. Location so close to a high end retail park and Legoland and Stores and many restaurants, one premium outlets and the flower field. Great food in the beach restaurant in the vicinity.

Neat and very affordable rooms with coffee maker and the toilet backing up, as example and amazingly nice staff. A lot of options, great food. Friendly check-in and easy check-out, parking nearby. Great pool to relax in too.

The pool and garden views at Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel were breathtaking, but I did notice some slightly noisy equipment. However, the picturesque golf courses and private balcony provided an enjoyable and peaceful leisure experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary local area shuttle to LEGOLand®, which made exploring the area convenient and stress-free.

The check-in process seemed a little understaffed, resulting in a long wait for many guests.

Comfortable room with the bathroom and patio and all the comforts. Substantial breakfast to star a day with waffles and sausage and juices. Central location, great place for discovering Carlsbad.

Fairly clean place with very courteous and amazingly nice staff members and pool views. Central location, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Carlsbad Premium Outlets. Found in a tourist area adjacent to other areas and a shopping plaza and legoland.

The location of By The Sea Hotel allowed easy access to the beautiful Batiquitos Lagoon, a natural wonder that I had been eager to visit. The Adventure and Dining Guides provided excellent recommendations for exploring not only Carlsbad but also the surrounding areas, including the rich local wineries along the coast.

Room cleanliness and maintenance concerns.

The hotel was good standard and luxurious with exceptionally nice people with the female manager. The venue was in a central location next to the beach, theme parks like Legoland, near the San Diego Zoo, Carlsbad outlets and more, Very near outlets, and many restaurants around.

Air-conditioned and brand-new rooms with large beds, coffee, climate control, and a carpet. All in all favourable location, close to several restaurants.

Loved the serene locale with garden courtyards and gazebos framed by the brilliant, blue Southern California sky. The Windmill Food Hall had all the fuel I needed, from coffee to wings. And the private balcony overlooking the garden courtyard was perfect for lounging.

Nothing I didn't like. It was all sunshine and rainbows.

Everything was great, the parking was nearby, the room was neat and very affordable. We were offered a warm American breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed a patio, a seating area, and it's own balcony in the room.
